Last updated: November 7, 2026

DM the PM ("we", "us") is a coaching business for project managers, run by Faraz from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through dmthepm.ca, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

What we collect

  • Toolkit sign-up: your first name, last name, email address and whether you agreed to receive emails.
  • Booking a call: the details you enter in the booking form (such as name, email, phone number if you give it, and your chosen time), plus anything you choose to tell us about your situation.
  • Emails and coaching: messages you send us and notes about your goals that help us coach you.
  • Technical data: basic information your browser sends, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and cookies or similar technologies used by our website and form tools.

Why we use it

  • To send you the PM Career Toolkit you asked for.
  • To send a short series of follow-up emails with practical PM advice, if you agreed to receive them.
  • To schedule, confirm and run discovery calls and coaching sessions.
  • To reply to your questions.
  • To keep the site secure, prevent spam and understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers we use

We use trusted providers to run the site and our emails. They process information on our behalf and may store it outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. These include:

  • HighLevel (LeadConnector): website hosting, forms, booking calendar, contact records and email delivery.
  • Cloudflare: security and spam protection on forms.
  • Google: file hosting for the toolkit download and web fonts.
  • HostPapa: our [email protected] email.
  • Soro: the blog shown on dmthepm.ca/blog.

Email consent and unsubscribing

We only send marketing emails if you agreed to receive them. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email [email protected] to stop them. Unsubscribing won't affect emails you need about a session you booked.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you're subscribed or working with us, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. You can ask us to delete it at any time, unless we need to keep something by law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. If you have a concern we can't resolve, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so please don't send sensitive information, such as your employer's confidential information, through our forms.

Children

Our services are meant for working professionals. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
